Capstone Logistics is taking part in the global effort to eradicate COVID-19 through our partnerships with Einstein Healthcare Network and other top health systems in Pennsylvania.

The company is transporting shipments of vaccines three to four times per week for Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Capstone is also servicing six of the top health systems in Pennsylvania, moving approximately 10,000 test specimens per day to and from testing sites that include hospitals, outpatient facilities, urgent care centers, colleges, nursing homes, and the
Philadelphia International Airport.

“Distributing COVID-19 vaccines for Einstein Medical Center is some of the most important work we’ve ever done at Capstone,” says Jon Rydel, President of Capstone’s Last Mile Fulfillment division. “Over the last five years, we invested in infrastructural improvements and industryleading technology for this exact purpose – to keep critical medical supply chains moving. We are committed to continuing this life-saving work in 2021, expanding our network as much as possible to help our partners in the medical community.”

Capstone’s Last Mile division has over 20 years of specialized experience in high-risk, high-value deliveries for hospitals, dialysis centers, blood banks, and labs. Our priority is the health of our partners’ patients, so we provide complete transportation visibility through real-time tracking, scanning, and strict temperature control. We are proud to partner with organizations like Einstein Medical Center, who are dedicated to saving lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As vaccines become available to the public, Capstone’s expedited response capabilities will allow us to scale to fit our partners needs for more warehouse, transportation, and last mile fulfillment support.
